During my research, I visited several users who discussed their favorite workout music playlists and genres. Recommendations ranged from electronic music, hardstyle, rap, rock, and various other genres. Some users even shared their own playlists, offering a wide variety of options.

 

But things change when you're creating a playlist for your fitness classes as an instructor, taking on the role of a DJ to motivate others.


Tip 1: A good playlist should be updated frequently, at least once a week, to keep it fresh with new songs that keep the energy high.


Tip 2: A great playlist should feature a variety of rhythms, seamlessly transitioning from high-intensity beats to soothing tunes.


In my own practice, I curate a new playlist every weekend for the upcoming week's classes. Although my classes are 45 minutes long, I create a 60-minute playlist, selecting songs from my favorite ever-changing playlists. But don't worry, if creating a weekly playlist feels overwhelming, you can always switch between multiple playlists. Some folks are lightning-fast at switching! 😄
